Dr. Elizabeth Tandy
Dr. Tandy was born and raised in Westchester County, NY. She attended college at SUNY University at Albany, and then graduated from UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School in 1997.
After graduation, Dr. Tandy joined the Air Force, and was stationed in Florida, North Dakota, Texas and Georgia during her nine years of service. Her education in periodontics was completed at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland AFB and the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio. She received her certificate of periodontics and her Master's Degree in June 2003.
As a resident, Dr. Tandy won first place in regional, national and international competitions for her research on the response of bone cells to implant surfaces in the presence of estrogen. Successfully challenging the American Board of Periodontology, she earned her Diplomate status in May 2004.
After six years in the humid south, Dr. Tandy decided that the Southwest was the place to be! Dr. Tandy lives in Phoenix with her husband, Sam and her two Chihuahuas, Molar and Flossie.
